Job Description

Kaimetrix, L.L.C. is seeking qualified personnel to support a contract within the Intelligence Community as a Senior Offensive Cyber/Systems Engineer. The location of the position will be Fort Meade, MD.

The Senior Offensive Cyber/Systems Engineer shall perform operations, maintenance and accreditation efforts on unclassified, classified cloud, virtual environment, and on-premise Information Technology (IT) environments at Fort Meade. The Senior Offensive Cyber/Systems Engineer shall provide technical support for the Life Cycle Development process of these systems to include support for the integration and implementation of these systems into the enterprise or Program of Record (POR).

The Senior Offensive Cyber/Systems Engineer must be able to:

Implement lifecycle solutions in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Standards, DoD, Army, and ICD 50 3 Directives and the Risk Management Framework
Evaluate system component suitability and make recommendations to the Government in order to eliminate redundancy and align capabilities within the IC regarding the impact of alternative new technologies on project costs, portability, compatibility, and usability sustainability
Provide technical expertise for software performance, test plan design and test scenarios for functional testing, security testing, negative testing and vulnerability analysis of cyberspace operations tools and capabilities

Requirements:

Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance
MS in Engineering with at least 15 years’ experience OR a BS in Engineering with 20 years’ experience
Must possess current DoD Approved Baseline Certification at IAT Level II OR higher (eg. CompTIA Security+)
5 years’ experience providing technical oversight of work performed by junior engineers
3 years’ experience sustaining cloud environments and hardware environments
3 years’ experience leading evaluations of current or emerging technologies
5 years’ experience providing technical expertise for software performance test plan design and test scenarios for functional security testing
6 years’ experience using security assessment and analysis tools
7 years’ experience working with networking protocols
5 years’ experience employing three or more of the following test methodologies: demonstration, testing, inspection, analysis, black box testing, gray box testing, white box testing
7 years’ experience implementing and using common operating system, antivirus products, network and security services and applications
5 years’ experience conducting penetration testing and reporting the findings
7 years’ experience: installing and configuring the Windows and Linux operating system; installing and provisioning networks; conducting basic network audit and analysis; and utilizing the command line interfaces for the Windows and Linux operating systems as well as for network management devices
Demonstrated experience developing and conducting independent tests to detect software vulnerabilities and/or conducting stress testing, penetration testing on various cyber tools or exploitation software
Demonstrated ability to independently conduct functional testing, IV&V, generate and document bugs, fault resolution/isolation and document those processes, and reporting on the immediate findings
5 years’ experience with VMWare/vSphere (Linux, CentOS, Windows), developing test environments (hardware, virtual, and hybrid)
Experience with a variety of Linux distributions / Bash and PowerShell

Nice to have:

Demonstrated ethical hacking, cybersecurity and/or exploitation, malware analysis, and signature diversification
