These strategies lead to connections between corporations, community-based organizations, philanthropists, impact investors, and government agencies to encourage investments that are most likely to advance innovation and reproductive and maternal health equity. Rhia Ventures is a 501(c)3 entity with a for-profit investment subsidiary, RH Capital.

Position Description:The Senior Program Associate, Reproductive and Maternal Health Ecosystem Building is a new role that will partner with the Chief Health Officer and venture investing colleagues from RH Capital to support early and growth-stage companies and other organizations in the reproductive and maternal health ecosystem. We seek someone with deep expertise in reproductive and maternal health equity, health care delivery systems, payer strategies, and the role of health technology to provide workshops, training, and support to reproductive and maternal health companies within our portfolio and in the broader ecosystem. This person should also be able to partner with birth justice and reproductive health, rights, and justice partners across the field and translate the needs of the women and other birthing people most affected by systemic inequity into programming that fosters equitable reproductive and maternal health products and services.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

Develop and implement engaging training and workshop sessions to increase the capacity of our portfolio companies and others to commercialize and scale their products in a way that centers reproductive and maternal health equity. Example commercialization topics may include: navigating Affordable Care Act coverage, entering the Medicaid market, use of telemedicine for reproductive healthcare, etc.

Develop and curate educational materials and trainings that span the broader reproductive and maternal health field. Example topics may include reproductive justice, birth justice, incorporating community voice into product design, etc. Audiences for materials and trainings may include investors, healthcare professionals, and companies.

Support the evaluation of the effectiveness of training, workshops, and support provided.

Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with key stakeholder groups including but not limited to impact investors, birth and reproductive justice representatives, policymakers, and clinical leadership.
